Dorsey, Owner
Meet MaidPure’s owner and founder, Dorsey Fairbairn. Dorsey is a Maryland native and former Emmy-award winning television producer who moved to Charleston with her husband almost 20 years ago. Since then, she has had the incredible honor of raising 3 boys while growing Charleston’s first all natural cleaning company back in 2007.
Dorsey’s love of everything home and her untethered devotion to caring for others lead her to a life of well being, pampering and style. Dorsey loves the feeling of a clean home, “not in the traditional sense of bleach and ammonia there is something so luxurious about walking into a room smelling like aroma therapy like a spa and knowing it’s clean. It looks good, feels good, smells good”.
MaidPure continues to be Charleston’s award winning premier choice when it comes to housekeeping needs. Dorsey credits the company’s popularity to her honest and hard working staff. “We have the most trustworthy people around and some of the most dedicated and detailed staff I’ve had the honor of working with”, says Dorsey.
Despite its huge success, Dorsey remains humble and appreciates the opportunity to give back to her employees and community through service and mentorship. Dorsey is a serial entrepreneur who flips houses with her husband and has recently started a new retail venture with a friend mixing old and new textiles.
When she’s not working, Dorsey loves spending time with family, traveling, fashion and home decor.

I’m a Charleston native and have been part of the MaidPure team since 2011. I live near Lake Moultrie and am a Mom of three. When I’m not working, I enjoy relaxing at the beach, spending time with animals, shopping, and making memories with my family. MaidPure has become my second family, and I’m grateful to be part of a team that feels like home.
